What services do you offer for my wedding?

So much more than what brides and grooms have become accustomed to expecting from a DJ Service – Prior to your wedding, I offer unlimited personal and telephone consultations for planning and music selection assistance, I provide suggestions and creative involvement for special events, wedding professional recommendations, assistance with other aspects of your wedding and a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear when you need to vent.

On your wedding day, acting as your entertainment director, I work with all your wedding professionals ensuring they all know what is happening next to make sure your wedding flows smoothly. This involves guiding the reception from the moment your guests arrive through to the introductions, speeches, cake cutting, special dances and farewells, including details such as where to stand and tracking down missing people. In addition to my role as your master of ceremonies and disc jockey entertainer, I help create special moments and make sure your photographer and videographer are there to capture the memories. But most importantly, I offer you peace of mind that comes with knowing you have hired a experienced full-time professional wedding DJ/MC entertainer who will maximise the enjoyment of your guests, create lifelong memories and always has your very best interests at heart.


Do you offer a Wedding MC only Service?

Yes. Wedding Master of Ceremonies service is available independent of the DJ Service. Options available are; DJ & MC, MC Only or DJ Only.


How many weddings do you entertain at each year?

DJ:Plus! Entertainment is a specialist wedding DJ and Wedding MC. My philosophy focuses on quality and not quantity. Your wedding is unique and should be treated as such. To ensure that each wedding is given the proper attention it rightly deserves, DJ:Plus Entertainment only takes on around 40 clients per year. Wedding ceremonies and receptions represents almost 100% of my business; weddings are my specialty and passion!


How much input do we have in the music selection?

You are invited to be as involved as you would like in selecting the music as I custom craft a wedding entertainment experience that really represents you. A combination of blending the artists and songs that are important to you with selections which your guests will respond to (acknowledging your Do Not Play List) whilst reading the crowd is what experience has shown works best to keep the dance floor happening.


Do you bring backup equipment?

Always! The primary equipment setup has some built in redundancy but to further ensure that should any issues arise, the problem can be quickly remedied, I also have additional components and a secondary independent system available on site.


What will you wear to our wedding?

Attire is always elegant and very professional. My preference is to wear a stylish black lounge suit.


Do you have insurance?

DJ:Plus! Entertainment has complete Public Liability insurance coverage up to $20,000,000. A current Certificate of Currency is available and gladly provided should your ceremony and/or reception venue require.


Can we meet you?

Absolutely! In fact, it is my preference to meet my couples before they make their booking decision. Talking with you, hearing all about your ideas and plans, getting a sense of who you are and what you want, is a very important part of the evaluation process to ensure we are a match. I also recommend another meeting about three weeks to a month prior to your wedding to go over all the fine details. For couples that are planning their wedding from overseas, interstate or intrastate, I am available by telephone, email and Google Hangout or via Facebook as well.

Who should not hire you?

I really want you to get the entertainment that fits you best. So, if you really like flashy DJs with lots of sound equipment and lights…you probably shouldn’t hire me. I am also not right for the couple who wants a cookie-cutter wedding reception like every other one they’ve seen before.


How much do you cost?

The rate will vary based on your requirements and services desired. I am not the cheapest, but my rates reflect the top-notch service, inclusions, time dedicated, attention to detail and care I take with your special day.


Why should we pay more for you?

If you want more than just great wedding music…if you want dance floor expertise, an eloquent spokesperson, a warm personality, extensive wedding planning direction, and someone to look after the details so that you don’t have to, I am just the entertainer you were looking for.
