Wedding DJ Bowral

  • Wedding Ceremony & Reception | 9 May 2014| Peggy & Adam | Centennial Vineyards, Bowral, Southern Highlands

For the second time within a week I made my way down to Centennial Vineyards in Bowral in the Southern Highlands region of NSW for the wedding of Peggy and Adam. The weather gods decided to play very nice to turn on a gorgeous autumn day. Peggy and Adam are a beautiful couple who totally love and adore each other. It turns out that their paths had already crossed a number of times before meeting, but it was not meant to be at those times and was not until two years prior that they finally ended up meeting, sparks began to fly, they shared their first kiss at Milson’s Point in Sydney and here we were today to witness and celebrate their wedding.

It was mid afternoon when guests started to arrive for the ceremony. In a lovely setting overlooking the vineyards on one side and  a courtyard on the other, we could have been in Tuscany, Italy. It was not long before, Peggy was escorted up the aisle by her mum Judy to be greeted by an excited Adam. The processional included a lovely tribute by Peggy to her dear father Colin, who passed away when Peggy was a teenager.  It was a beautiful ceremony, officiated by Rachel Harman, Peggy and Adam exchanged vows and were married – two individuals who had come together and had now become one. They added a personal touch to the ceremony and blended a collection of rocks they had collected from significant  places that led them to their wedding day.

Following the ceremony, whilst Peggy and Adam had photographs around the vineyard, guests enjoyed canapés and refreshments in the courtyard in front of the warm fireplace and around the fountain. A little while later guests made their way into the Restaurant before we welcomed the new Mr & Mrs Hughes with cheers and applause. They both then gave beautiful speeches, which were heartfelt, humourous and emotional. The entrée was served, we entertained everybody with the Newly-wed game, guests enjoyed their main meal, there was speeches from Bridesmaid Cindy, Matron Of Honour Kelly, Bestman Daniel, Peggy’s Mum Judy and Adam’s Dad Philip, the wedding cake was cut, desert and it was time for Peggy & Adam to take the floor for their first dance. This was a beautiful moment for the both of them containing many personal heartfelt sentiments. Guests then joined them on the dance floor to party and celebrate their love.

Before long the time had come to wind thing up, but not before special bouquet presentations to both the Mums, Judy and Wendy. A Circle of Love so that guests could be personally thanked for helping make their special day one which they will always remember, then a guard of honour to farewell Peggy and Adam.

Peggy and Adam, seeing you both so happy and so much in love with each other filled my heart with much joy. Thank you for giving me the honour and privilege of being able to experience your love, witness your life-long commitment to each other and the moment you became husband and wife – for me this is such a special moment and I feel so blessed that you granted me the opportunity to be your Southern Highlands Wedding DJ & MC. I know that you will both always nurture the love you share and that it will continue to grow deeper and deeper with each passing day. May love, laughter and music fill your lives forever!!!

  • Wedding Reception | 3 May 2014| Rebekah & Andrew | Centennial Vineyards, Bowral, Southern Highlands

Rebekah and Andrew met way back in 2008 through friends. In early December 2012 whilst bush walking in the Blue Mountains, Andrew surprised Rebekah with asking her to be his wife. Fast forward to 3 May 2014, on what turned out to be quite a cold and chilly Southern Highlands day, Rebekah & Andrew became Mr & Mrs Edwards at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Berrima.

This beautiful couple chose to celebrate their marriage at Centennial Vineyards. When guests arrived they were greeted by a warm venue, canapés and welcoming drinks, but also the warmth of Rebekah and Andrew’s love. The celebration commenced with great applause as we welcomed the parents and members of the wedding party. A short welcome from Rebekah, followed by heartfelt speeches from the Dad’s, Tony and Peter, before guests were served a delicious entrée.

A little bit of fun with the newly-wed game, followed by the main meal, centrepiece give-away, speeches from Bestman, Mathew and Andrew, the cutting of the cake, dessert and it was time for Rebekah and Andrew’s first dance. This was a beautiful moment, dancing to a special edit of Michael Buble’s, Everything, it was full of love and lots of feeling – it was as if they were one.

The guests then flocked to the dance floor and moved and grooved to hits both old and new. Of course Rebekah and Andrew were there leading the way. In what seemed like no time at all, it was time to wind things up with the bouquet toss, garter toss, parent dance and then a farewell dance. Guests then formed a guard of honour for Rebekah and Andrew to depart through.

When I first met Rebekah and Andrew about a year ago, they told me of their plans for a simple, relaxed and fun wedding that involved lots of personalised details to make the day their own. I could tell instantly that they were perfect for each other and I loved hearing about their plans. So many beautiful details were present at this wedding.. plus a whole lot of laughter and love. I enjoyed every moment of this beautiful day. Rebekah and Andrew, thank you for your trust in allowing me to be a part of your wedding day as your Southern Highlands Wedding DJ & MC, it was an honour to be there and witness your beautiful love for each other, the love you have for your family and friends….and the love they all have for you both in return. May love, laughter and music fill your lives forever!!!

  • Wedding Ceremony & Reception | 7 December 2013 | Haley & Aaron | Peppers Craigieburn, Bowral, Southern Highlands

It was the perfect weather for Haley and Aaron’s morning wedding ceremony and lunchtime reception at Peppers Craigieburn, Bowral, in The Southern Highlands. The sun was beaming down on these two lovers as they exchanged vows, committed to marriage and promised to love each other for all time.

Haley and Aaron met 6 years earlier through mutual friend Stephanie – who today was one of the bridesmaids. They began spending time together, got to know one another better and eventually started dating after 6 months.  They have been through a lot together and their relationship has had its share of ups and downs throughout the years, they have always managed to work through them together and come out stronger at the other end. They are each others anchor in a stormy sea. They are awesome, honest and down to earth people, they laugh easily, love openly, cherish each other deeply and are so much fun to be around! They are also both very hard workers, they are both very passionate about their family and providing a stable environment for Jayden. They enjoy the outdoors and spend most of their free time outside.

Needless to say it was a beautiful wedding full of love and lots of fun!!…and even though there was the odd hiccup, they took it all in their stride and were determined to have the time of their lives regardless. A delightful time was had by all as they enjoyed their meal, mingling, chatting, the speeches, dancing and celebrating this special day with Haley and Aaron.

Haley and Aaron’s relationship is built on a foundation of love, honesty and respect. They are equals and are united in achieving their goals. Haley and Aaron, I am completely honoured that you allowed me the great privilege to be a part of your fantastic day and that I got the opportunity to; get to know you better, meet your family and friends, see happy smiles and silly faces, but most of all, the abundance of love! Have a wonderful delayed honeymoon next year and may love, laughter and music continue to fill your lives forever!!!

I promise to share with you a relationship of love, honesty and commitment. I will stand by you through all of our tomorrows respecting you as a person and your individuality. I promise to live with you and laugh with you; to stand by your side and sleep in your arms; to always bring out the best in you and to be the most that I can be. This is my promise for our life together. ~ Haley

You are the only woman I want to share my life with, and I promise to encourage you in your successes and support you when you stumble or have doubt; I promise to work with you and walk along side you, to create a life and family full of joy, fun and meaning. This is my solemn and binding vow. ~ Aaron
